At Autumn Ridge, we believe every follower of Jesus is called to lead in serving others. That’s why we’re excited to invite all our volunteers to the Lead, Develop, Care leadership training workshop this fall and winter. This half-day experience will equip you with a simple, proven framework to help you lead effectively in your ministry and beyond, because growing as a leader is an essential part of growing as a disciple.
What Is Lead, Develop, Care?
The Lead Develop Care model focuses on three core responsibilities of every leader: Lead, Develop, and Care. Rather than giving you abstract theories or a random “grab bag” of tips, it provides a practical, step-by-step process to leadership success. This framework helps leaders accomplish the mission, develop their team, and care for each person they lead – in other words, to set direction, invest in people’s growth, and value each individual.
LDC isn’t untested theory – it’s a field-proven model that has been taught to over 7,000 leaders in more than 90 countries, demonstrating its clarity and effectiveness across cultures and contexts. LDC is the primary leadership tool our own Autumn Ridge staff uses to grow and equip leaders.
Our church staff has received this training, and it has become a foundation for how we lead. We’ve even shared it on mission trips to train church leaders abroad, with powerful results. Now, we’re offering this same proven framework to you, our volunteers, so you can grow in confidence and make a greater impact as you serve.
What You'll Gain
- Simple & Practical: Understand a clear leadership framework you can start using right away – no confusion, no information overload. You’ll “get it” and be able to use it by Monday! LDC distills leadership into essentials, taking the mystery out of leading and giving you intentional steps forward.
- Know Your Strengths: Gain insight into your own leadership strengths and weaknesses so you know where to grow. The workshop will help you identify personal leadership habits – what you excel at and what could be improved – bringing self-awareness that fuels growth.
