AR Kids

Exciting Things Are Happening for Autumn Ridge Kids

Why AR Kids Exists:

To lead kids to be fully devoted followers of Jesus.

We desire to be:

We want to be a Children's Program of all cultures, where curious, skeptical, and hurting kids love to attend.

MID WEEK PROGRAMING

Midweek is on a summer break after May 11th.

FALL KICKOFF IS SEPTEMBER 14TH!

AR Kids Midweek is all about creating healthy relationships between children and their small group leaders and growing in their knowledge and relationship with Jesus. Each week, we’ll enjoy large group time with worship, games, and a lesson, and small group time that will focus on application, and of course fun activities in the gym. This program is open to birth-5th graders. We meet Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 8:00 pm.

*JULY*

This week we are focusing on...

We learn about so many incredible humans — past and present — who have changed the world using their influence, their voice, their dreams, and their passion. Kids might find it hard to relate to these dreamers, though, and ask themselves, “Can God use me for something that grand?” In Up In The Air, kids will learn through the stories of Elisha that we can dream big with God, have faith in God, count on God’s promises, ask God for what we need, and be used by God. The sky isn’t the limit anymore . . . not with God’s promises at work in our lives

Barnabas Program

Autumn Ridge offers a Special Needs classroom during the 10:00 am service on Sundays. Each student is greeted with a welcoming, colorful, and thoughtfully arranged classroom. A classroom that is conveniently located in the CENTER Wing, where we are so fortunate to have a handicapped-accessible entrance, our own dedicated parking places, handicapped-accessible bathroom facilities, and access to the gym with adaptive equipment and room to spread out. Our Barnabas room is set up to be a self-contained classroom for children and teens ages 5-18+ who have a developmental or cognitive delay and/or medical condition that prevents them from being in the general classroom. The room is staffed with trained volunteers who are able to care for and support these children, while teaching and modeling the love of Jesus Christ.

If you have a child with special needs, I invite you to visit our classroom and experience it first-hand. If you know of a family who would be interested in this ministry, I encourage you to invite them to Autumn Ridge. If you feel a stirring in your own heart and would like to be a part of this exciting ministry, please sign up at this link:
