Discussion Questions for Week 3
- Using the Four Stages of Learning model, what’s something from your life where you moved from Unknown to Aware to Practice to Instinct?
- What stood out to you about this passage? Was anything interesting? Was anything confusing?
- The first stage of learning is “Unconscious Incompetence,” represented by the word “Unknown.” Was there anything in the sermon or the passage that you didn’t know that you didn’t know; anything that was completely “Unknown” to you that you are now “Aware” (Conscious Competence) of?
- How does this story from Acts 8 encourage and/or challenge your discipleship?
- What’s something in your life with Christ that you want to practice more so that it might become instinct? Why that one? What do you think you should do first?
