A Lot to Celebrate: Kids and Student Ministry Growth and Change
It’s exciting and amazing how much our Kids and Students ministries are growing! Over the past year, we experienced record attendance post-COVID. Ridgefest brought thousands of youth to our campus, The Fall Nighter gathered over 700 middle and high school students, and our weekly gatherings are receiving hundreds of kids and students.
This is certainly something to celebrate. Our team of staff and volunteers are doing a wonderful job serving the young people at our church and the metrics support that.
Along with this growth comes change.
Two of our staff are transitioning off the Kids and Students teams. Taylor McDowell is expecting her second child and will soon enjoy the opportunity to be with her children full-time. Elliott Mosely has taken a job at Mayo Clinic, moving forward in his plan to eventually live in the UK again.
Lisa Roelofs has joined our Kids Ministry team, bringing her teaching experience and passion for ministry to the Autumn Ridge staff. We are glad to have her on board.

Please join us thanking Taylor and Elliott for all they have done these past few years. Their contributions made a significant impact on our church. We will miss them dearly, but we know they both have wonderful things ahead. And, please help us welcome Lisa to our staff.
We hope to soon welcome a Family Ministry Pastor to Autumn Ridge. This position will oversee both Kids and Student ministry teams. We have already found several candidates for the position and are conducting interviews, but we are being patient and diligent. You will hear more once a decision is made.
Thank you for your support and prayers in this time of growth and change. God is working through our church in reaching young people with the Gospel, and we will continue to move forward trusting in Him.
