AUTUMN RIDGE CHURCH
Move toward the messes. Belong before you believe. Take truth seriously. Follow Jesus.
We exist to lead people to be fully devoted followers of Jesus.
We want to be a church of all cultures where skeptical, curious, and hurting people love to attend.
We'll follow it,
Give grace relentlessly
Since it's never earned or deserved, we never have a reason not to give it away.
We want everyone to grow in their faith journey.
You don't have to think like we think, or act like we act, to be accepted here.
We care more about your experience than our own.
We invest our lives, not just our money.
Nobody makes a difference by staying comfortable.
God changes people; we don't.

Autumn Ridge Church in Rochester
Autumn Ridge Church is a Christian church in Rochester, MN that exists to lead people to be fully devoted followers of Jesus. In addition to weekly services, you'll find a wide range of programs, Sunday School options, Bible studies and classes, small groups, and events.
Some of our values include taking truth seriously, giving grace relentlessly, honoring guests enthusiastically, and more.
We strive to offer the opportunities and programming of a large church while still providing avenues for close community. Our large-group weekend gatherings are times when all guests worship and learn together and our small groups, classes, Bible studies, and serving teams are great ways to build close relationships and make a large church feel small.
We love Rochester and are so grateful to be part of the community. This area is certainly a place of wonderful people, excellent opportunities, and a significant capacity to serve others.
While most Autumn Ridge guests come from Rochester, there are some who come from surrounding communities in Southeast Minnesota. Currently located on Salem Road SW, just off West Circle Drive, this church was originally named First Baptist Church and has had several locations in Rochester since the 1800s (yes, the 1800s!).
Our staff is passionate about discipleship and leadership, and our dedicated volunteer teams work hard to provide an incredible experience for members and guests. If you’re interested in being part of the team that makes our weekend services, programming, or events possible, there are many options to volunteer.
What is Autumn Ridge Church like?
The weekend church services include music and singing, some brief announcements, prayer, and a sermon or message. There are four church services each week including one service with traditional elements and one Celebrate Recovery service. Be sure to check out our Weekend Services page for more information and our Sermons page to hear past weeks' sermons. You can also watch the most recent services with both music and the message on our Live Stream page.
Kids and Students will also find a lot to do at Autumn Ridge, including options for Sunday School programming, kids ministry during Sunday services, high school and Middle School programming, and several exciting events throughout the year.
On Sundays, the kids programming is available for children birth through grade 5. There are fun options for each age range, with different games, activities, and lessons that are designed for each stage of development.
As we said, one way we try to make a large church feel small is by building relationships in groups. We think that one of the best ways to build relationships and engage in the local church is through Small Groups. Small Groups are groups of 6-12 people who meet weekly in homes to develop friendships, learn and grow together, and encourage one another in faith and in life. The primary opportunities for our small groups come in the form of our Fall or Spring studies that help us to personalize and internalize the sermon series.
There are lots of churches in Rochester. Why Autumn Ridge?
Our beliefs are outlined on our About Us page. One of our values is to "belong before you believe," so we invite anyone to join us at church, hear a message from our pastors, and start a conversation with us about faith, the Bible, and Jesus. Autumn Ridge is grateful for the opportunity to invest in the Rochester, MN Community and in global missions. There are some local organizations in Rochester that we are directly involved with as well as international workers that we support. We also host annual events including Ridgefest, a free fall-festival and trunk or treat, ARC1:8, a summer block-party style event that happens at schools in town, a Devoted Hearts Conference, and more. A variety of events provide safe, fun, family-friendly activities for our neighbors, allowing the opportunity to build relationships and love others like Jesus did.
