Safety & Lodging:
We will be staying in a property that the Barahonas use to house teams multiple times each year. This property is located within a guarded and gated community, and the property itself has its own large walls and security gates. The Barahonas have spent many years building strong relationships with the local community, and there are many people in the community that rely on Nueva Esperanza to take care of their kids. Because of this, the local community does not bother their ministry and the teams that come to assist them. Over the numerous trips that Autumn Ridge has taken students, we’ve never experienced any moments that have felt unsafe.
Transportation:
-Church van and parent vehicles to & from MSP airport
-Flights to & from Honduras
-On the ground in Honduras, travelling by Nueva Esperanza’s bus
Food:
All food in Honduras is taken care of by Nueva Esperanza.
*All food during travel days is not included in the cost.
Trip Leaders:
We’re currently in the process of coordinating leaders for this trip, and will update as they are confirmed.
