This December will mark the 20-year anniversary of our building
Recently, folks from our church surprised us by generously contributing to what we’re calling a 20-Year Refresh.
After two decades, some key areas around our building and property need to be refreshed. Thanks to their generosity, we can make these updates without dipping into our operations budget or reserves.
Our first priorities.
> Lobby
> Prayer Room
> Common Grounds Café
As you can imagine in the building the size of ours, our needs list can quickly exceed our budget. We haven't yet finalized all the items we can include in this project. We are currently considering:
- new paint
- lighting
- carpet
- audio-visual for the cafe
- and numerous smaller items
How can you participate?
Word has already started to get out, and some have asked if they can give to the 20-Year Refresh. So, we are opening up an opportunity for designated giving.
As funds increase, we will be able to extend the 20-Year Refresh to other parts of the facility. This is not a campaign.
Rather, we simply want to honor the request of those who love our church and want to be a part of this effort.
Did you know some of our guest have never visited a church before?
Visiting a church for the first time can be scary. You don’t know anyone. You don’t know what to expect. For many, especially those who don’t have a church background, it can be disorienting.
But what if the people of that church have committed to intentionally expressing hospitality so that the environment feels irresistible? Combine that with a kind and welcoming culture, and a church has something special. It’s a privilege to be that kind of church!
